Boho Chic at the Musée – Pour Homme

As we all know, the men in our lives sometimes need a little assistance putting an outfit together, especially when the attire is Bohemian Black Tie.  Fine men’s clothing boutique, Joseph’s, on Fore Street in the Old Port, has everything your guy needs to pull off this look at next Thursday’s event.  Here are 2 dapper looks that Lara, Assistant Merchandise Manager of Joseph’s, put together for us:

Look #1:

Lara - This outfit is a formal classic with unexpected twists.  We put a black Baroni Prive suit with a lavender Eton shirt, black silk bow tie, two different silk pocket squares in complementing colors, and patent-leather blocked dress shoes by Magnanni.  The idea was to do a suit instead of a tuxedo to add a bit more of laid-back attitude, but to add the bow-tie on to make it more formal.  The colors in the shirt and pocket square add a bit of romance and whimsy to an otherwise conservative look.

Look #2:

Lara - This is styled a bit more casually and unusually.  He is wearing black J Brand jeans, a Corneliani dress shirt, a Robert Talbott tie, Cooper Jones sweater blazer, and a silk pocket square.  This look is more for the gentleman who prefers to dress down and be comfortable but still look sharp.  The deep purples and greens add some pop to the unstructured charcoal blazer and black jeans.  We also added the vest from a three-piece Jack Victor suit to give the outfit that extra layer of interest.

See you all on March 1st at Voila!
