Fall Fashion…For Babies

Who says adults are the only ones who get to have fun with fashion?  These days, baby fashion is just as fun & trendy as the fashion that hits the runways.  To keep all the little Mainers in your life looking their best, you don’t have to go further than the adorable boutiques here in the Old Port, which offer the best in baby clothes & accessories.  I took a stroll to three great boutiques to share some of my favorite finds for baby fall fashion.

Ms. Lulu’s

FLOWER HAT BY BETSY AND MILLIE - This flower hat by Betsy and Millie is simply irresistible.  It doesn’t matter if the flower is bigger than her head or if the hat doesn’t even fit in the car seat…sometimes you just have to make sacrifices for fashion (even when they are this young).

DENIM PETIT BATEAU DRESS – Even babies can get in on the hot denim trend.  This lightweight denim Petit Bateau dress has a sweet swingy shape and delicate button detail on the front & back.  The plum Petit Bateau leggings complete the outfit for a perfect fall look.

Blanche & Mimi

STROLLER BLANKETS – Baby fashion isn’t all about what the little one is wearing; it’s about the gear you’re carrying as well.  Nothing’s better than fall in Maine, and these Dwell Studio Stroller Blankets with their sophisticated designs make your outings practical and stylish.

ANGEL DEAR – One of the most adorable baby brands is Angel Dear, whose little outfits feel like soft, lightweight sweaters you’ll want to put on yourself.  These sweet onesies are made from 100% organic cotton and are perfect for Maine’s cool fall months.

Folly 101

OWL HATS & BOOTIES – These darling owl hats and matching booties are too cute for words, and owls just happen to be a hot trend in baby décor and clothing.  Your little one will be so cozy in these she won’t even know how trendy she looks.

LOBSTERS – No matter the season, something that will always be in style here in Maine is lobsters.  Whether it’s on bibs, hats or onesies…every tiny Mainer needs something with a lobster on it.
