The Hottest Fall Trends
The crisp air & gorgeous foliage are not the only things to look forward to this coming Fall…there are also the fabulous new styles and trends that a new season of fashion brings us. I chatted with Angie Foddrill, owner of Bliss, and she summed up this upcoming season in three words, “Fall looks AMAZING!”
To give you a local take on the hottest new trends, Angie gives us a rundown on the must-haves for Fall. (And lucky for us, Bliss stocks it all!)
1. Skinny Cargos – a perfect staple piece when looking to create a military feel, one of the season’s most sought after trends
2. Denim Leggings – gives a fresh new perspective on blue jeans and are surprisingly versatile – they can be dressed up or down, worn casually or sported with a classier look
3. Twills, cords, and colored denim in neutrals like olive, taupe, charcoal, grey, chocolate, black, and navy
4. Sweaters are back in a big way – LOTS of big, chunky oversized sweaters that work best paired with skinny pants and jeans
5. Frye is on fire, as well as other boot brands, and they fit flawlessly over denim leggings
6. Leather is going to be BIG – super soft, washed, rumpled-looking leather in gorgeous colors like army, cognac, chocolate, black, and dark honey
7. Oxfords – Frye makes the cutest!
