How to Stay Stylish While Working up a Sweat

The days of going to the gym in your man’s old t-shirt are long gone.  These days, workout clothes & accessories are just as fashionable as the clothes you wear for a night out.  And why shouldn’t they be?  If you feel and look good in your workout clothes, you’ll be even more motivated and have more self-confidence to hit the gym or head out for a run. 

Here are some tips on how to stay stylish while working up a sweat–

  • Hair - Wear a cute headband to keep your hair looking good and also out of your face.  Or, pull it back into a braid, which just happens to be a hot hair trend.

  • Makeup – Keep makeup to a very minimum – lip gloss at the most is all you need.  A full face of makeup will look anything but pretty as it melts down your face.  Plus, you’ll have a natural glow in no time once you start your workout. 
  • Gym Bag – Stop toting around your old duffle bag from high school.  Gym bags these days can be just as fashionable as handbags.  Find one that combines the fashion & function that suits your needs.
